Actress and film producer, Lydia Forson, has joined a lot of across the region to condemn the brawl that ensued at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Songs Awards.
In accordance to her, it was sheer luck that patrons at the preferred event escaped unhurt in the course of the mayhem brought about by admirers of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
On Fb Lydia Forson explained the practical experience was each traumatising and terrifying.
“When persons see a gun, their rapid response is to operate, and when they’re confined to any area a stampede takes place and that is generally how men and women get damage,” she wrote.
She said that though she loves both artistes, they ended up both of those guilty of what happened and must be held responsible.
“So several people could have been severely harm we obtained blessed this time,” Lydia Forson additional.
Soon after Stonebwoy was introduced Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year a brawl broke out involving his camp and that of his archrival, Shatta Wale.
It all happened when Shatta Wale and his multitude of lovers walked towards the phase while Stonebwoy was about to give his speech for the award.
Just as he approached the phase, punches started traveling concerning Stonebwoy’s entourage and Shatta Wale’s group.
Stonebwoy finished up pulling out a gun, which he later on apologised for.
Stonebwoy described that he pulled the gun in self-defence.
